Service Matters and RERA Lawyers in Bangalore
We act for government and public sector employees in transfer, promotion, seniority, pay and disciplinary matters. We also act for homebuyers in complaints against builders before K-RERA.
Overview
Service law and real estate (RERA) disputes
Central government employees approach the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). Karnataka state government employees approach the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal (KSAT). Employees of many public bodies approach the High Court by writ petition.
Under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), homebuyers can file complaints before the Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA) for delay, refund and other issues.

Good to know
Things to know
Act within time
Tribunals expect a challenge to be filed within the time the law allows. Delay needs a good explanation.
Exhaust the department first
In most service matters, you must first use the appeal or representation available within the department.
RERA refund with interest
If the builder fails to give possession on time, Section 18 of RERA allows a refund with interest or interest for the delay.
Keep your papers ready
Orders, service records, the agreement for sale and payment receipts are the key documents.
