Intellectual Property (IP) Lawyers in Bangalore

We help businesses, startups and creators protect their brands, inventions and creative work. We handle trademark, copyright, patent and design filings, IP contracts and infringement cases.

Overview

Protecting your brand, ideas and creative work

Intellectual property (IP) is often a business’s most valuable asset. Registering it early gives you clear legal rights and makes it easier to stop copying.

One of our advocates holds a Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and has worked on patent filings. We work under the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Copyright Act, 1957, the Patents Act, 1970 and the Designs Act, 2000.

Good to know

Things to know about IP

Search before you brand

A trademark search before launch can avoid a costly rebrand later.

Registration takes time

You can use the ™ symbol after filing. Use ® only after the trademark is registered.

Renew on time

A registered trademark lasts 10 years and must be renewed. A patent lasts 20 years from filing, subject to annual fees.

Get IP in writing

Work made by consultants is not always owned by you. A written assignment makes ownership clear.
